Wood Floor Restoration
Here's How It Works:
First, the applicator will check for contaminants that would prevent adhesion. For example, if it is determined that there is wax on your wood floor finish, it would need to be removed. Then we begin the three-step finishing process.

STEP 1
Wood-Solv no sanding formula chemically "sands the floor." Just like sanding, this unique formula abrades the old finish to receive a beautiful new topcoat. It saves the hours, expense and the mess of conventional sanding.
STEP 2
Wood-Solv repair products are used to make any necessary repairs to the surface of the floor before applying the final finish.
STEP 3
Wood-Solv's unique catalyzed wood finish is applied and permanently locks with the original finish for an attractive, clear finish that lasts.
The next day, you'll be enjoying your newly restored floors and enjoying the satisfaction of having saved lots of money with floors protected by a finish that's as tough and durable as it is beautiful.
What if I can't use the Wood Solve Method?
The Wood Solv Method can only be used on floors that are not severely damaged or worn. A floor finish that is ground to the wood, severely scratched, discolored or damaged or a different stain is wanted would require a complete sanding and restoration. In this method we would need 3-4 days to tape, sand, clean, apply coating and allow dry time to complete the restoration process. This method is more time consuming and costly than the Wood Solv restoration. The technician will come to your home and assess your floors to determine their condition, recommend a method and give an estimate of the cost.
Lamanator Plus is a unique restoration system which will help seal, protect and intensify the surface of today's laminate and cork floors. Lamanator Restoration is one of the only systems designed specifically for laminate flooring and cork with NO SANDING REQUIRED.
In addition, many cleaners are not effective on laminate and cork, including damage from water penetration into the joints and streaking. Even walking across a newly washed laminate floor will leave footprints, prompting the complaint that laminate floors never look clean.
The Lamanator Plus system is designed to eliminate these problems, extend the life and improve the appearance of the floor. This system uses only BIODEGRADABLE products, because we're also concerned about the environment as well as the beauty of your floors.
Lamanator Restoration begins with a deep scrub before we apply Lamanator Plus Restoration. After 30 minutes another coat is applied. We recommend that you wait two-three hours to dry before using the floor. Full curing time is 12 hours.
We also recommend that you maintain your floors by using Lamanator Plus Buff Dry Cleaner and Revitalizer. Use coasters or felts to protect the finish of all your floors.
The benefits of applying Lamanator Plus will amaze you.
Before deciding to remove old laminate floor or cork, it's worth trying this quality product.
There is nothing like Lamanator Plus.
How do I Care for My Wood Floor?
Clean often with a soft cloth or soft bristled broom to remove dirt, sand or grit. Dirt acts as an abrasive and will cause scratching and reduce the longevity of your wood floor finish.
Use a damp mop (never a wet mop) to clean light soiling. AVOID water, all-purpose cleaners, and harsh chemicals, which can damage or dull the finish. Also, DO NOT use oil soaps, silicone and acrylics or dust mop treatments which can leave a residue and adversely affect the adhesion of a coat of finish in the future.
NEVER use wax or wax product on a urethane finished floor. Using a wax or oil could void the manufacturers warranty.
Keep a mat at the entrance or heavy walkways to keep particles from getting on the wood floor and from grinding into the floor.
Change the position of rugs occasionally to prevent uneven color changes. Wood flooring is a natural product and is subject to fading and discoloring by light and sun.
Wipe any spills immediately, as prolonged exposure to large amounts of water or other liquids could cause problems. Keep pet nails trimmed.
Keep high heeled shoes in good repair.
Remove boots and shoes that may have pebbles lodged in the soles.
Restore or recoat urethane finished floors when wear patterns from surface scratches are noticed, usually every 3-5 years.
